Free Rice
In a forum in which most of us have a surplus of food, it's sometimes difficult to remember that much of the world does not. I stumbled upon Free Rice, a website designed to making a dent in the world hunger crisis. Today, rice supplies are frighteningly thin--linger on Free Rice in order to do your part, while, at the same time, nourishing your lexicon. How many grains of rice have you donated? My best level is 46, and the largest amount of rice I've donated is 2040 grains.
This is a great website for HS kids! It helps them help others and it increases their vocabulary at the same time! Thanks for the post.
