WHY?!?!?!?!

And why does a woman who prefers to "taste" her food rather than eat it become a diet expert?

As a peer counselor, the most common desire of every girl that I have encountered is to have a size 1 body. The likelihood of women to develop eating disorder is high, but many are able to control it.

Just came across your blog. Super enlightening. And I do agree that most woman have some kind of eating disorder. We are so aware of our bodies now more than ever before.

Personally, the only time I didn't think about my weight or have body issues, and I mean the ONLY time, was when I was actively playing sports with an all women's team in high school and college. It was only then, that I was proud of what my body was capable of doing, NOT what it looked liked. And it was only then, that food was seen as fuel for energy, rather then pounds for packing.

Now that I am no longer on a team and in my 30's and I am very critical of my body and very aware of what I eat.

Thanks for your site.
