The blog that (hopefully) writes the book.
That's interesting. What's from "postsecret?" I think I'm just slow today and missing what you mean.
If I am following this correctly, it says he/she only eats fast food if they are a near place to throw it up?I guess I'm curious as to how you obtained this....did someone send it to you? Because if so, I have a lot of opinions on what that could mean. Either way, its sad on so many more levels than just the eating behavior.
"Post secret" is a site where people send in postcards annonymously - secrets, things that are on their mind - and they get posed on the site.
Sorry abt the link--wasn't going through until now.
I'm taking it as most fast food is disgusting and really shouldn't be intending for human consumption. Not that the person is suffering with bulimia.Fast food = gross food.
That is a very bizarre site that I am still trying to figure out.
Such a powerful sight. I've made up postcards but haven't yet worked up the nerve to send them. It's like I haven't yet given myself permission to get over the issues that I have.
ahh....i think you are correct lynn.
I'm with Lynn and ps22.Plus, slightly off topic (but still related) that site is dark. Interesting, but dark.Even more interesting are the range of comments on Amazon about the site and the book.To bring it back to topic here, it seems that the variety of eating disorders are the secret of most women. I wonder about the extent to which that's reflected in the book.
Postsecret is one of my favorite sites. It's like a peek into other people's brains. It's hard to look away!
i know of this site. we all have our secrets.as far as the post itself and what it said, i can take it a step furthur. i have to have a good place to throw it up that is clean.
I'm chronically bulimic, and Wendy's was the last place I binged, first making sure that their bathroom was at least semi-private and in working order. This picture was like a punch in the gut.I'm sick of feeling sick, you know? I'm sick of not being able to eat normally, to have breakfast with my roommate or dinner with my family.
